WHY SHOULD I TAKE CLASSES WITH USCFE?
Simple, the goal of the United States Center for Entrepreneurship is to help you start your business! Here are the top reasons students take USCFE classes:

CLASS FORMAT
Students review all class materials including instructor audio lessons and corresponding Action Guides. Students “apply” the step-by-step targeted lessons confidentially to their own business via the downloadable action guides. Students submit class content questions to the instructor that are answered on USCFE’s continuously updated Question and Answer website reference page. USCFE classes include pre-class and post-class surveys to improve student knowledge.

HOW DO I KEEP MY BUSINESS CONCEPTS AND IDEAS CONFIDENTIAL?
Simple, USCFE provides a downloadable Action Guide for you to save to your own computer. Anything you add to your Action Guide stays on your computer. Thus, it is your responsibility to always keep your items confidential and well organized on your own computer.

WHO ARE THE CLASS INSTRUCTORS?
USCFE's class instructors are national industry experts who are highly respected throughout the world of business and are motivated to pass their knowledge on to you. You can read each instructor's biography on his or her class description page.

IS USCFE AN ACCREDITED PROGRAM?
No, USCFE is not accredited. USCFE’s Mission is to create entrepreneurs. USCFE offers a valuable Certificate Program that can be presented with your business plan to advisers, bankers, investors, partners and vendors to secure their confidence in you.

DO I HAVE TO SUBMIT AN APPLICATION TO TAKE USCFE CLASSES?
No, USCFE is here to help all entrepreneurs. Start today by simply registering for the class(es) you wish to take.

HOW LONG DOES EACH CLASS LAST?
USCFE classes are "self-paced" based on your own research and development time. Each class provides a checklist of step-by-step action items that, depending on the class topic, may take anywhere from two hours to ten hours or more to complete.

I’M OUTSIDE THE U.S., CAN I ENROLL IN USCFE CLASSES?
Absolutely! Classes are accessible worldwide via the Internet using any computer that meets USCFE requirements.

WHAT ARE THE COMPUTER SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS FOR TAKING USCFE CLASSES?
USCFE Internet-Only Classes are easily accessible and require the following to optimize your learning experience:

  1. Adobe Flash Player 6.0.79 or later (Flash Player 7 or later recommended).
    Download Adobe Flash Player
  2. One of the following Internet Browsers:
    • Windows: Internet Explorer 6 and later, Firefox 1.x and later, Safari 3 and later, Google Chrome, or opera 9.5 and later.
    • Mac: Firefox 1.x and later, Safari 3 and later.
    • Linux: Firefox 1.x and later
  3. USCFE classes contain audio lessons and therefore sound is required on each computer.

CAN I ACCESS CLASSES FROM ANY COMPUTER?
Yes, USCFE classes are accessible through any computer that meets the minimum requirements outlined in the FAQ below. However, USCFE’s piracy protection technology limits student login access to three computers (i.e. home, office, and laptop) from which to access USCFE class content.

• Piracy: USCFE tracks and prosecutes individuals involved in fraudulent login activity. WARNING: KEEP YOUR LOGIN INFORMATION CONFIDENTIAL. You will lose access to your login if your account is not in compliance with USCFE’s policies and procedures.

HOW LONG DO I HAVE ACCESS TO A CLASS?
Once registered, you have 60 days to access your student login account and complete your class. However, your 60 days of access restarts when you register for a new class. This window of time allows you to grasp the content and motivates students to complete their business action items in a timely manner.

What if, "I NEED MORE TIME?" Students have two options:

  1. New Class: register for a new class and you regain access to all previously registered classes. Each registered class provides 60 days of continuous access to your personal class content.
  2. Suspend Access: Click on Contact Us to request an extension for major personal or Medical “life event” issues.

DOES USCFE OFFER ANY PAYMENT PLANS FOR CLASSES?
No, USCFE has worked hard to provide you with very affordable classes and the flexibility to choose only the class(es) you desire.

WILL USCFE BE ABLE TO ASSIST ME AFTER I START MY BUSINESS?
Yes, USCFE classes provide valuable information for new business owners and we provide targeted information for existing business owners. In addition, USCFE will continue to add products and services that will benefit both startup and established business owners.

CAN I TAKE A CLASS WITHOUT THE AUDIO VOLUME ON?
It is possible to simply read the text, but some classes use bulleted items within the lessons, which are covered in more detail through the audio. To optimize your learning experience, be sure to have your computer’s volume on.

CAN I DOWNLOAD MY CLASS CONTENT?
No, class content is only accessible via your student login. However, USCFE’s downloadable Action Guide provides step-by-step action items for you to record your ideas, answers, and notes on your own computer.

CAN I ALLOW OTHER PEOPLE TO ACCESS MY CLASS?
No, USCFE tracks fraudulent usage and will terminate a student's access as well as prosecute individuals involved in illegal usage.

CAN I ASK MY INSTRUCTOR QUESTIONS?
Yes, USCFE provides a class specific Question and Answer website where you can ask a question to an instructor and view other questions and answers pertaining to the class. Your answer will be posted shortly after submitting it to your instructor.

I ASKED A QUESTION, SO WHY DON'T I SEE AN ANSWER ON THE QUESTION AND ANSWER WEBSITE FOR MY CLASS?
USCFE works hard to provide answers to your questions in a timely manner. However, there are times when USCFE industry expert instructors are traveling and may not be able to answer your question in a rapid manner.

Additionally, your question may have contained confidential information about your business. If so, USCFE may paraphrase your question to ensure that your confidential information is not shared on the Question and Answer website. Therefore, your question may be posted with an answer, but it may not look exactly as you submitted it.
